Welcome to the Western District Evangelical Free Church web site. We are united
by a mutual commitment to serve our Lord Jesus Christ with the guidance
of the Holy Spirit and obedience to the Word of God. We are committed
to cooperate with one another in ministry and fellowship as we seek
to fulfill the Great Commission which Christ has entrusted to His
Church.
The growing ministry of the EFCA currently extends to some 40 countries of the world. The mission statement of the EFCA is:
The EFCA movement exists to glorify God
by multiplying healthy churches
among all people.

Exciting news from Dr. Gil:
I have asked six phenomenal men to come along side us and become a Superintendent-at-Large. These men will bring a wealth of experience, spiritual insight and new ideas to our Clusters. I will continue meeting with some of our 18 Clusters, but these Superintendents-at-Large will meet the others. They are gifted men who I trust wholeheartedly and I cannot tell you how extremely excited we are to have them on our District team!
Throughout the summer we will send out their bio's and pictures so you will get to know them a little better. For now, let me introduce them to you:

Dr. Daniel Henderson of Strategic Renewal. We are partnering with Western Seminary, Sacramento Campus to host this event at Arcade Church in Sacramento. Watch for registration information to come out this summer.
