PETE SCAZZERO founded New Life Fellowship, September 1987 in Elmhurst, Queens, New York. New Life is an International church with well over fifty - five countries represented. Out of the successes and failures of pastoring, he, along with his wife Geri, embarked on a journey of integrating emotional health and spirituality. Over the past nine years, this has radically transformed New Life Fellowship; in their leadership development, staff/board relationships, discipleship, small groups, and multicultural/racial reconciliation efforts.

These principles are outlined in the book – The Emotionally Healthy Church (Zondervan, 2003), winner of the Gold Medallion Award for 2003. Pete graduated from Gordon-Conwell (M.Div.) and Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (D. Min. in marriage and family).

The principles from The Emotionally Healthy Church and his latest book, Emotionally Healthy Spirituality will be featured at the DLD. This work greatly sharpens the theology and integration of emotional health and spiritual maturity.
